Chicken soup "therapy" is popular (I used it myself for a recent cold) and it has more value than many other supposed COVID treatments. The point of Wilson's article is that since the most severe consequences of COVID usually happen to individuals with underlying health problems, we should be paying more attention to prevention through good health habits - including proper nutrition - instead of only relying on vaccines and medical treatments to protect us.
