- Deepfakes - fraud attacks rose by 3,000% in 2023. They are used to manipulate individuals and affect national elections and wars. As technology becomes more efficient and accessible it will be used for more low level scams and cons.
- Zero-day attacks - AI can find and exploit vulnerabilities before humans are aware of them. Cybersecurity teams must use AI to counter this threat.
- Automated malware - threat groups will be able to target a higher volume of victims, with more and more successful attacks.
